1. What is StrataMGT®?
StrataMGT is an innovative gel for the management of mucosal conditions.

2. How does StrataMGT® work?
StrataMGT is a semi-permeable, non-resorbable and self-drying gel. When used as directed, StrataMGT lightly bonds to form a protective later that is gas permeable and waterproof which hydrates and protects mucosal tissue. StrataMGT may be directly applied to dry, wet, cracked and sensitive mucosal tissue. It contains no steroids, hormones, alcohol, parabens or fragrances, and is suitable for long-term use. StrataMGT gel is bacteriostatic and inert.

3. What are the indications of StrataMGT®?
StrataMGT is used to restore the barrier function and moisture balance of the mucosal epidermis.
StrataMGT was developed for use on all types of mucosal conditions and post-procedures care including:
- Genitourinary syndrome of menopause, GSM (vaginal atrophy / atrophic vaginitis)
- Vulvovaginitis (including pre-pubertal)
- Vulvodynia
- Lichen sclerosus
- Lichen planus/simplex
- Post vaginal rejuvenation
- Vaginal grazing
- Incontinence related dermatitis
- Diaper rash
- Hemorrhoids and anal fissures
- Allergic and irritant dermatitis

4. How can I open the tube?
On first use of 1oz (28.4g) tube remove the cap, cut the nozzle tip of the tube and close with the cap after use.

5. Can StrataMGT® be used in conjunction with other products?
StrataMGT may reduce the effectiveness of contraception such as spermicides, condoms or vaginal devices. Please use
other precautions during this time.StrataMGT may increase lubrication and therefore should not be used in conjunction with condoms for the prevention of
sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). -
6. How long should I use StrataMGT®?
StrataMGT should be applied for a minimum of 30 days.
StrataMGT is indicated for long-term use to maintain the health of the mucosa. Continued use is recommended until no further improvement is seen.

7. Does StrataMGT® stain clothes?
StrataMGT may stain clothing if not completely dry. If staining occurs, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric.

8. Can I apply StrataMGT® over topical medications?
StrataMGT should not be applied over topical medications unless advised by the physician
Moisturizers, lotions, etc. are not required. StrataMGT can be re-applied more often to avoid dry and tight skin feeling, as StrataMGT prevents the water evaporation through the damaged mucosa that may cause this feeling. StrataMGT may reduce the effectiveness of contraception such as spermicides, condoms or vaginal devices. Please use other precautions during this time. At the time of producing this material, no adverse effects have been reported with the use of StrataMGT.

StrataMGT does not require special disposal methods. Please follow your local disposal regulations.

11. How often do I need to reaply StrataMGT®?
StrataMGT should be applied after each urination, bowel movement or wash.
StrataMGT may be re-applied more often to ensure constant contact with mucosa or skin, or to reduce symptoms.

12. Does StrataMGT® need to be rubbed or massaged?
StrataMGT does not need to be rubbed in or massaged, as it does not penetrate through mucosa or skin and will not enhance its effect

Polydimethylsiloxanes, siloxanes, alkylmethyl silicones.

14. Where can I find StrataMGT® expiry day?
StrataMGT has an expiry date of five years after manufacturing. This date is imprinted on every box (side flap) and tube (end seal) in the format year-month (e.g. EXP 2018-09 or 18-09). The expiry date does not change once the tube is opened.

No, StrataMGT is odorless.

16. Can I store StrataMGT® in the fridge?
For correct storage of StrataMGT please reclose the tube tightly with the cap and keep out of the reach of children. StrataMGT does not have a specific temperature storage condition. You may store StrataMGT in the refrigerator prior to application for a cooling effect.
